Assamese Ornaments

 

Dholbiri (ঢোলবিৰি) is a native Assamese ornament
 worn by Assamese women around neck. It's a
Dhol (a native leather instrument) shaped
 ornament decorated by stones of various colours, 
traditionally nickeled by gold.

Assamese Dhol
Dhol (ঢোল) : A leather drum of traditional Assamese people used
in  Bihu singing. It's sound is believed to be related with sound
of thunder in folk Assamese culture which was actually used to
bring rain down to paddy-field for enhancing production by
dancing and drumming in the month of April, greeting the summer
season.  It was believed that those action pleased the
God of production. Now commonly used as traditional musical
instrument.

throughout the North-eastern region of India. It's shape, design,
weight and measure varies from tribe to tribe 
Dola (ডলা): A shallow round bamboo-made utility used by Assamese
people to clean paddy, rice, pulses etc
